i am a queer fiber artist and i use they / them pronouns. i am a lifetime artist and lover of all things soft. some of my earliest memories are of creating beautiful little things with fabric and string. i began making this kind of art professionally six years ago in olympia, wa and now happily teach and reside in portland, or.

i have a particular passion for working with materials and techniques that speak to your hands, your head, and your heart all in unison, as one beautiful chorus. weaving, knitting, crochet, and lace making all cycle through me, different times calling for different skills, and i love them all equally. i am particularly capable in knitting as well as making filet crochet lace, but i am very comfortable with textile crochet.

i value beauty in all forms and find myself seeking it everywhere. when i am not knitting or teaching, i am drawing comics to meditate on the wonders of life, tending to my garden bed, or cooking a little treat for myself and my friends.
